Is there anything resembling a sports bar in the Maryville/Townsend area? As a matter of fact, how far is Maryville from Townsend?

About 20 minutes

Windy City Grille is a good spot to grab a beer and watch football. It's on the far end of Maryville from Townsend though. Probably a 25-30 minute drive that location. 20 minute drive until you're in Maryville city limits.
Black Horse pub and brewery in Alcoa is a good spot for food and beer. I can't remember the TV setup though. Definitely worth checking their website or calling to see. It's a good atmosphere

Smokeyone lives in the Maryville area. He can give you a rundown on the local scene.

Blue Tick is a decent spot too. Right in the heart downtown Maryville.

Here are some pics from their FB page...looks like TVs are on the perimeter, but can't see any pics of TVs in their outside seating.

Check out Blue Moose, Bluetick Tavern, Hooters, or Buffalo Wild Wings. There are much shittier, smaller bars that you could do, but you'll probably have the best success with a game at the above listed spots.

Nothing in Townsend, but several ok options in Maryville.

Thanks…..didn’t realize Maryville had a BWW? I’ll probably just hold my nose and go there. At least I know they’ll have everything I want to see.

Not bar related but if you want to go white water rafting, the Ocoee River is one of the best rivers to raft or kayak. Near Ducktown TN (Southeast Corner).
