And the offense still feels out of sync.

Should have easily gotten to 600 if Cook could hit a deep ball at all.

3 needs to be cool.

Cook spent the off season working on arm strength. That may have been a mistake.

BC was never a threat to win this game. The Tigers were a threat to lose it.

The defense sold out to stop the run, that was the correct call.

I figure the offense cost themselves 2 touchdowns. If they can stop shooting their own feet this can be a special season.

Marvin Burks jr had a bad game at safety. Otherwise this game looks much more impressive. Would have liked to have seen Moore make BC stop the run in the 1st half, Noel seemed to be gashing them. I honestly think Moore over thinks things.

I’d like to see more downfield too but the penalties are what concern me.

Reedus, good to see you on here. I feel like it’s been a minute?

Is Burks going to be a problem all season? Rarely can a player be accounted for allowing 2 touchdowns on their own in a game.
Also, why did Noel seem to be slipping a lot in the second half?

Carl Gettis did it several times in the B12. Kids make mistakes, especially true Sophomores. They are coachable moments and he will grow from it.

Burks earned playing time as a true freshman. The kid works hard and is smart. He will be fine. Everybody has lapses. I'd rather it be an uncharacteristic blown coverage than getting beat because of a lack of athleticism. He knows he screwed the pooch, won't happen again.

442 yds 216 on the ground and still made it a dog fight with Vandy.

The points being left on the field is concerning. Once they cross the 30 they are struggling to continue the drive.

Cook's legs have to be a dynamic part of the offense. It gets the LBs and safeties looking in the wrong spots and creates separation between the safeties and LBs.

He is taking care of the ball...almost a little too well. He isn't pulling the trigger on throws unless he sees the WR open. That isn't going to cut it. He has to give Burden and Wease a chance when they are singled up. Waiting to see them open and then checking it down late is why the LBs and safeties are minizing what Noel can do after the catch.

Hopefully the bye week can help speed the offense up.

Being late is why that Burden deep shot failed. Waited for him to get 15 yards of separation before the ball arrived.

Maybe I’m just annoyed by yesterday, but Cooks legs seem dead compared to last year.
