Hard to argue that. It’s hard to be a top coach when you can’t win openers and you’re consistently in the Cheez It and Reliaquest Bowl.

How can you have DeBoer ranked lower than Sark while he is 2-0 against him with less talented rosters?

Sarkisian doesn't deserve to be in the same group as Smart, Kiffin and DeBoer.

Here are his yearly W/L records as a head coach:

Washington (same place DeBoer just went 11-2 and 14-1):
5-7
7-6
7-6
7-6
8-4

USC:
9-4
3-2

Texas:
5-7
8-5
12-2

Switch those two around. Sark lost to Deboer.

No.

The guy had some great years...over a decade ago. Since then, he's crashed and burned (literally and figuratively) at multiple stops. He's now 63.

Have you looked at Kiffin’s W/L records? Kiffin is the most overrated coach in the country.

He coached a Heisman qb after the motorcycle wreck and only left Louisville because of a feud with the AD. Then took a break. He has never not been a good coach

DeBoer? Your tears of defeat will be sweet.

I have. Although his are somewhat spotty, he still has three 10+ seasons at the P5 level plus two more (in just three seasons) at the G5 level. He's a full notch better than Sark.

However, your point is taken if you mean that he isn't on the same level as Smart or DeBoer. Kiffin isn't up there with them.

DeBoer beat Sark last year in the playoff. Sark is good but he has done it at a high level for one season so far. DeBoer wins games wherever he is at. Kinda hard to argue Sark over DeBoer at this point.
