Need the injuries on the interior DL to heal up. Had a few gaps for Mafah where a quicker back could have taken advantage. But looked better than many times last year.

I really liked how our LB's covered the edges/gaps today. Much improved from last year.

I really liked how we got pressure on the qb and had some sacks. That was missing last year.

Defense was solid all game. First real game for many so they will improve. By the Bama game they will be very good.
Offense felt their way first half but took control second half. They'll improve as well.

I like the transfer WRs and TE.

This is too early. While Clemson seems to have solved some of their problems, they're not in the same zip code as some of the offenses coming down the road.

Auspicious beginnings, though.

Yurosek came to Georgia to improve his blocking skills.

From what I have heard, he has a great attitude and has a good work ethic.

Never hurts to have additional depth.

To be fair that one play of Peter Woods at 6’3” 315 doing the ole push n pull on him isn’t that surprising. Woods is elite. Yurosek isn’t in that regard. But at least he kinda got in the way for half a second. Don’t think Woods made the play that time.

Concerned about Mykel Williams also, not good that he didn’t return yesterday.

AJC said it’s a ankle injury but scans came back negative Bell was Cramps supposedly and Brunson he’ll he might just be the most injured guy I’ve seen on this team in a while

Yeah, thankfully not too serious from what I read also since posting that earlier. We need him healthy.

I loved it man all the way down to the Justin Williams tackle in garbage time. These guys are flying all over the field and wrapping up, ideal defense from coach Schumann

I just can’t get over the speed man the speed is just beautiful it is a little concerning the D line can’t get a lot of pressure in the back field
