What are some of best sports bars in Atlanta to watch the game this weekend? Preferably filled with mostly Georgia fans/alumni.

Atlanta Atlanta, like downtown/midtown? Or metro Atlanta?

If you want to celebrate with real UGA fans, go to someone’s house. People don’t go to bars. That and the country clubs usually have big watch parties

I’ll be watching it at Mercedes Benz, but, yeah, need more detail on what part of town.

Manuel's Tavern on the corner of North Avenue and North Highland.

I don't think it's gonna be much of a game....can't see georgia not covering 13.5.

I like Irby's Tavern on East Paces. I like dive bars and Irby's fits the bill...usually not a typical Buckhead crowd. especially at noon, usually a lot of blue collar types there that time of day. There is more typically a Buckhead crowd at night but even when it is at its worse there is enough normal folks to keep it pretty close to normal. I also have a place to park and sleep it off 3 blocks away so there is that....no small consideration given the price of parking in Atlanta. Irby's is about half a UGA bar. There will be fans of other games, it is not exclusively UGA but given the number of Auburn with a lake fans in Atlanta it may be mostly UGA and fans of Clem's boy.

Elbow Room on Pharr is also a pretty good dive bar....it'll usually be closer to a true UGA bar in my experience. Also has a less than typical Buckhead crowd. There are a lot of younger frat type fans usually and I have been there when they were a problem for other folks, never was for me but they can be overbearing at times what with having their first beers and whatnot. My son used to be almost a nightly regular and apparently there is some pretty nefarious activity going on at times - not during game times but late late.....Its family friendly until about 10 PM or so most nights though.

I have never done it in Atlanta but I have in several US cities, London and Berlin - The UGA alumni association usually has a list of watch parties for each cities and areas alumni association and I have had some big times at those. Some of them have been pretty lame - the 2019(?) Sugar Bowl (Baylor) in Portland was kind of lame but toward the end of the game folks started getting more like what one would expect. I am not an alumni but I have always felt welcome at these watch parties, mainly because I am comfortable anywhere but I don't think most people would feel out of place. Usually mostly recent grads so its a younger crowd but there will usually be some older folks there.

Any Sidelines Grille near you has a pretty robust crowd. They may be chains, but Buffalo Wild Wings and Taco Mac have been reliable spots to catch a game, too.

Taco Mac and 3 Dollar Cafe are solid choices around Atlanta. I am told there is a 3 Dollar Cafe in Smyrna somewhere around the battery with a cigar lounge. The only one I know of in the area is the one on Windy Hill Road that has been there forever. I can't imagine them allowing cigar smoking at that one but someone told me recently that they did. Burn at the Battery will certainly allow it....that'd also be a good place to watch the game most likely.

What are the MAGA bars in Atlanta? They are all liberal, and filled with liberals.
I have watched many a game at Manuels with friends. For a nooner game the crazies won't be out and about at that time.

Someone suggested Twin Peaks in Buckhead. Looks good online. Anyone ever been there?
I prefer to a close to the city as possible. Would rather go to the game, but no one else wants to pay $300 plus for a a decent seat(I’m the only UGA alumni in the group m) so this is the next best thing for me.
