Greetings! This is what I expect from my dogs this season:

Offense will be good to great. The starting o-line is the best group on the field. WR group is solid and deep. SR transfer Kelly Akharaiyi will lead this group (out this wknd with injury). Lebby likes to run a fast paced offense, plenty of talent on the 2 deep to sub in and out. RB group will be average. TE group will impress, Seydou Traore will be a match up problem and SR transfer Justin Ball is a solid 2. Blake Shapen, transfer from Baylor, has good arm strength and accuracy. He put up great numbers in the past, staying healthy is the concern here.

Defense will be the weakness of this team. In particular the DL is the biggest question mark. LB should be middle of the pack and the secondary will be average. I expect State will give up a lot of points, but, will score a lot as well.

I expect the over will hit more games than not. I also expect the over 4.5 in total wins. 7-5 on the year, Hail State!

You think the offense will be about like it was under Leach? If it is we might not have it easy there but Napier likes to run so that may be good against your weak D Line.

I have missed you bastards, to be honest. I'm glad at least 1 State fan is willing to think positively toward this season.

7-5 on the year,

vs. EKU - W
at Ariz St - tossup
vs. Toledo - W
vs. Florida - tossup
at Texas - L
at UGA - L
vs. A&M - tossup
vs. Arky - tossup
vs. UMASS - W
at Tenner - L
vs. Mizzou - L
at Ole Miss - L

Would have to sweep the winnable games or pull a big upset to go 7-5.

Mine looks like this with winning one tossup.

Last time you posted you started a thread saying MSU was gonna hire Jamey Chadwell in November

I have MSU at 5-7. That's being generous with what Lebby has to work with.

I think State's offense this first Lebby year will be better than Leach's best at State (2022, 31.8 ppg).

You may be right about Florida being able to run on State. We may have to hope to outscore teams this year.
