I just don't know and I'll hing it ALL on if Cousins can stay healthy. Also, just not sure how tentative he'll be after a major surgery.
The team has talent, however, if we have to rely on a rookie QB if Cousins gets hurt, we're toast.
Optimistically, a 10 win season.

Was in Vegas a few weeks ago and found an alternate line of U8.5 wins at +250 and hammered it. I'm fairly confident that they'll start 0-3, which not many teams come back from.
They have no pass rush and half of a secondary, and they did nothing to address either of these issues in the offseason. Combine that with this team having no home field advantage (Cousins will almost certainly have to use silent counts during the season opener against Pittsburgh), and I think they'll land in the 7-10 range again. There is not a single player on this roster who opposing coaches have to gameplan around besides maybe Jessie Bates.

The first 4 games are critical.

I think the Falcons are a playoff team. They have upgraded the roster, specifically QB and DL, and coaching.
We should win the South. I think there’s at least 1 playoff win too.

That's another key point on how well this coaching staff gels and how good they are schematically. Raheem Morris was downright bad before so let's pray he's improved.

I think it's happening like I said it would. I wouldn't have went after Cousins and wasted all that money. I would have went the Fields/Wilson route and drafted Milton, who is about to win the starting job over Maye. I don't think the Falcons make the playoffs.

It all depends on the start of the season. If we can snag a win or 2 over the first 5 games, playoffs for sure.

Penix made some throws in game 1. Sucks our #8 pick wont be able to help a pretty good roster, but I can see a scenario where this works out well long term.

If the birds simply make the playoffs this year, then that's progress for 2024. For the ensuing two or three years should raise expectations, but the first step is getting a lot of these talented pieces around Cousins some playoff experience.... finally!

Very uninspiring half. Pittsburgh was better on both lines of scrimmage. I have no idea how they're winning this game because Pittsburgh has looked like the better team on the field so far.
