That actually screams that the education system failed you....or you failed it.

Missouri is two states away from Canada. Kentucky is more north than Missouri!

Texas is next door to Arkansas, New Mexico, Louisiana and Mexico.
Mexico wants Louisiana to move as they are lowering property values for everyone.

Johnson city, TN is closer to Canada than Memphis. Your point?

You may want to look at a map before posting

All this talk of the north, the South could actually learn something about drinking, and hospitality without being two faced, from midwesterners.

3rd grade teachers arent what they used to be. Far more likely to have pride flags and pronoun charts in the classroom vs world/U.S. maps and such. (Especially in the show me state)

Only 1/3rd of the state is.
If KY is ''appalachian'' so is TN.

u]Northern most point in Missouri [/u]- 40°36'49"N / 91°43'45"W -
Iowa border on the Des Moines River northeast of Anson
Northern most point in Kentucky - 39°08'52"N / 84°44'57"W -
Ohio border on the Ohio River north of Francisville
I was going to say, unless there is new math where 39 is more than 40...Missouri is more North than Kentucky. But then I saw your reasoning...I mean...Kentucky is only one state away from Canada, while Rhode Island (like Missouri) is 2 states away.

You both border Tennessee. I hope this helps you in your travels, provided you decide to ever leave your county.
