I was wondering if any of you had any news on how Mbakwe is doing? Anyone heard if he will see any snaps on offense this season? I do know Saban was gonna play him at DB this season had he not retired.

I agree with that. Alabama will continue to beat LSU without Nick Saban being the Alabama HC.

I haven't heard much either, but from what I've gathered, Mbakwe is still set to play DB. There’s been some talk about his potential on offense, but nothing concrete yet.

Thanks for passing that along. Outside of the spring game I typically start trying to keep up with the news about Bama football around Media Days every year. Why I do that I do not know lol.

Mbakwe is the most interesting player coming in this season. This guy is such an athlete and he can play so many positions it’s going to be fun to see what this coaching staff does with him. I got to watch him play a couple of games in high school and he is a real problem for a defense. I can’t imagine DeBoer and Grubb not using him on offense some along with Williams and the speed he is going to bring. Bama could have Williams, Mbakwe, and Milroe all on the field at once. That is a lot of speed and athleticism on the field at once and I haven’t even mentioned the RB’s yet.

So sad, Sunday 4:45 a.m and you’re obsessing about LSU again.

Seems like most teams have been quiet.

I think the portal has a ton to do with it. Everything is a crapshoot.

Better to keep that attitude up gump because Daboer is most likely going to be an epic flop in this league following the GOAT's footsteps.
