They aren’t, they didn’t even sniff their first of their 3 championships until 1969 and they’ve only won 1 in 50 years

I am not trying to start anything, but I have an honest question. I was curious about the 3 or 4 titles for Texas, and saw that 1970 is claimed. Bowl games were a thing in 1970, but they lost their bowl game. How could they have remained at #1 if they lost the last game they played in? Especially since they lost by 13?
