They fired a winning coach with CWS appearances, but no titles.
They swooped in and stole a winning coach with CWS appearances, but no titles.
Texas A&M may indeed have the last laugh. Time will tell.

At least we don’t have to worry about Texas. We already know we can kick their coaches arse.

To be fair. You beat him, but barely.

We hired him from an assistant's position. We didn't steal a head coach. We developed one.

Prior UT coach had a 65% win record at UT and we stunk this year. UT needed a change, he can’t be worse.

You’re not playing Kansas anymore. We all have good players. The whole conference does.

Schloss probably threw the game on purpose. Utx probably gave him a bonus for doing it.He for sure made some questionable decisions in games 2 and 3.
Plus, Texas AD purposely announced their coaching fire on the day of the CWS final. He did this to get in the heads of A&M players.

Why not do it a day earlier? Let me guess, Schloss threw game 2 as well?

quote:No, like all other coaches. He has wanted that title all his life. He would not get that close and throw it away for anybody.

You are probably correct on this one.

DVH developed him.

quote:No coup, Schloss is just rejoining the AD who hired him for the job before aggy. Any coach knows it's best to work for the person who hired you and is at least invested in their success. Trev Alberts at aggy has no particular loyalty to Schloss and vice versa. Schloss is always who we should have hired, not David Pierce. (Who isn't a bad coach, just not elite)

Greatest of all time? No, not hardly. Greatest of his time? The argument is becoming more realistic every year.
Who has a better resume since coach V became a head coach?
