Beam will be tough to beat tonight but that’s a lot of value for what I think is the better overall team.

Yes they sure did. Good point. Maybe he wasn’t on that day. Beam definitely has ace stuff if he’s on. I just think there’s so much value on A&M tonight.

I’m conflicted on how or if I want to get involved in this. A&M +1.5 +120 RL is looking good and +165 ML is hard to ignore a sprinkle. My only issue is I haven’t watched enough of these college games to have a feel for who shows up today. Oddsmakers have Tennessee at -215 ML and -1.5 -150 RL on the bounce back. That sure looks like oddsmakers think the bats show up for the Vols today. In the MLB +1.5 at plus money is an auto bet for me and I could care less who is on the mound or any hot streak or cold streaks going on. However, in the league there are a lot of 1 or 2 point victories. In college when a team gets beat they often get beat by margin. Last year the Gators hung 20+ is so on LSU then LSU hung 20+ on the Gators the very next game. College has a lot of emotion and momentum in it. The MLB has more parity because even the sorriest teams have for the most part good players.

So the question is are Evansville batters more disciplined than A&M’s? Or less so?

Given that UT is throwing their ace and A&M is deciding which midweek scrub to roll out for this game, I think the betting line is generous.

One team is an an all-in player. The other does not need to win. I believe that is showing in the odds.

I thought the same thing last year when LSU trotted out a pitcher that hadn’t started a game the entire season if I’m not mistaken and he had a good outing. Having said that I would have swore I saw a stat that Tennessee hasn’t lost back to back games since March. To me this is a A&M ML wager at +195, A&M +2.5 RL spot, then pray A&M jumps on them early with their bats and come in and live bet on Tennessee at a better price because I can’t get down on a -2.5 RL with an inflated vig and Vols -250 is something I personally can’t wager. Baseball is a crazy game to wager on and a great sport to live bet. The house can’t stand it when you middle it and take down 2 wagers on two different teams in the same game. My favorite book will only allow you to live bet $500 so that speaks volumes right there since my credit limit is 10k per play on sides or totals.

One A&M home run pushed that Vols ML to -150.
