Are lsu and ten. rivals?

I didnt think they were, but lsu fans sure seem pretty butt hurt abot last nights game.

Only on this board do LSU fans like to heckle VOLS. It’s mainly in response to two posters and their merry band of alters. (True) VOLS fans don’t actually care about LSU.

I don’t mind tenn for the most part, this team is a lot more respectable from a competitor standpoint than 2022. Even some of our players had said they are really respectful guys who they are friends with.
I’ve watched some Vitello post games and yes he’s a firecracker but he’s a really good coach.
Other than a few Tenn fans who have multiple accounts and are historically bad with their post the rest of the fan base is pretty good and not bad to be around. (Same can be said about some LSU posters so I understand where they come from)

A lot of LSU fans hated the 2022 Vols team simply because of how they acted, flipping off outfielders, their celebrations and bat flips probably went a little overboard. (That year was a big reason a lot of the homerun celebrations are ejections now) and can’t get past the fact that the program has become a lot more respectable the last 2 years.

Everyone just tries to get under Tiger fans skin since we have the best college baseball program and we’re not in Omaha this year.
Pair that with Tenner fans being obnoxious as hell and that’s all it is. If lsu has any rival in baseball it’s MSU or Arkansas. id say tennessee has a long ways to go to being our rival but Arkansas doesn’t have any titles either

ETA made the NCAAt once in the last 20 years and forgot they won one title since the 70s. Still, they haven’t done anything at all in a quarter of a century. That program’s clearly dead

Hard to be rivals when only one program ever actually wins anything. It’s more of a general dislike of a team and fan base that think very highly of themselves for no apparent reason.

I’ve said this already but I can assure you LSU does not give a frick about UT. They are new kids on the block, UGA/Clemson without the championships.
No one’s butt hurt we are just annoyed we have to wait longer to rub their inevitable failure in their faces.
