Going to passing camps
Posted on 6/12/24 at 7:41 pm to bluedragon
Ain’t very many passing camps better than Kent Austin.
Mechanics don’t seem to be the problem on offense. Everyone being on the same page and running correct routes, 100 percent effort on even if your route is the 3rd read, pass protection, then correctly reading the defense and delivering the ball on time. That’s what has to be worked out in the pass game and on the entire offense

As a reasonable supplemental alternative, maybe we should also send our entire offensive line to to:
“Learn how to F@#KING BLOCK & KEEP YOUR SH!T TOGETHER AGAINST A PASS RUSH FOR MORE THAN .025 SECONDS- CAMP”!!

Amen.
Heard it here first I’m very concerned about Big Percy. Well the entire left side of the OL really. Wade hasn’t played inside in a bit and wasn’t a road grader as much as we ran last year against much smaller players. I think he will be decent but if we run less than 60% of offense that isn’t RPO I worry about the left side in obvious run downs.

Then they need to go to the Bama, hold them, until you break them camp
I always found football field clinics for Referees interesting. ......I wonder if the SEC Officials will down down the Highway now that Bama has a new Head Coach.. .....
That was "teach them how to hold" until we pull a flag clinic ......

And the backs. Still remember that play where Hunter trots out into the flat, the friggin DB almost knocks him down blitzing and Hunter didnt even stick out an arm. Thorne takes the snap looks right then left booom right in the grill. Comes off the field and Freeze yelled at him get rid of it. Thorne should have said you are a blind idiot. Piss poor coaching to call out a kid that way without even seeing the play.
Regarding the left side, you are correct Corch. Thats why in Aday they kept running to the left side and it wasnt working. It wasnt working thats why they kept running it. As Saban says, you dont run it til you get it right, you run it til you cant get it wrong. So far we dont seem to get it right, yet, but we will get there.

Saban didn’t say that…
That’s my motto
We don’t do it until we get it right, we do it until we never get it wrong
