USCw W
Nicholls W
USCe W
UCLA W
So. Ala. W
Ole Miss W
Arky W
A&M W
Bama L
Florida W
Vandy W
Oklahoma W

Very favorable schedule but should have no more than a loss or 2 (max).

Easily in the playoffs.

LSU poised to strike,
Solid team, the schedule's light,
Kelly's crucial fight.

so glad bama game won't be all or nothing as it's been the last decade or so

I would take that in a heart beat and then beat Bama in the playoffs.

Even if Bama comes out to be really good, I'm still thinking a push in BR.

Ole Miss and Alabama will be tough games; otherwise LSU skips a two of the other "expected" top teams in the SEC (Texas, Georgia)

I think it'll hinge a lot on the offensive identity with the departure of an admittedly amazing QB-WR set. Three first round picks, no matter how good the guys behind them, is going to be very hard to replace.

You get us (Bama) late in the season so if there is a game where the offense still learning that identity could play a part, it's probably USCw (though they just don't have the Jimmies or the Joes to keep pace with LSU at the moment) and maybe Ole Miss, but even they're game 6 so we should know by then how good LSU's offense is without too many question marks by then.

I don't expect LSU to win against Ole Miss

I'm expecting LSU's QB (and offense) to be solid. Not great but solid and balanced.

I expect their defense to improve a lot and be solid.

Their schedule helps (not complaining but just saying it definitely helps and I'd be happy about it if it was my team).

No way LSU loses to Ole Miss.

This game will be at home.

Ole Miss D will be the same as usual.

O will dazzle at times but ultimately not enough depth to beat LSU.

If you have to tell yourself to temper your own expectations and emerge pleasantly surprised if things turn out better, then I support you

I see the following three as being the biggest hurdles, no offense to Bama but the matchups aren’t as favorable:

USCw - first game of the season out west, first game with our new look defense against a team that hasn’t been able to stop anybody but has been able to score a lot of points

Ole Miss-will probably have the best offense we will face this year

A&M-haven’t won in College Station since 2016

Luckily they'll have the subpar defense. In such contests, I always favor the team with the better defense and most balanced offense.

LSU defense will have to be significantly improved to beat Ole Miss and Kiffin
Only good thing is that game will be at home!

Our defense might be worse this year.

10-2 and in the expanded playoffs seems like reasonable expectations imo

If you're not high on your team, I could see that. I think LSU surprises some people this year including their fans.

I think they lose to one of the California teams, likely USC in Las Vegas. LSU has shown they have issues against early season out of conference opponents. Kelly is 0-2 in marquee games and Coach O is still looking for the guy in the sissy blue shirt that whipped his arse. They will also lose two to Alabama/Ole Miss/Oklahoma/TAM/Florida. I see a 9-3 regular season.
