Oklahoma -- They’re losing at least four games. They'll get better probably but not anytime soon

I still don’t understand this perspective. Anyone who follows recruiting know they’re pretty loaded. Easily the best D since Gerald McCoy was there. They actually have depth to alleviate injury problems. The WR core will be easily one of the best in the country. The only question mark is the OL.

It’s funny that ppl shite on Arnold bc he was 10/20 but most of the incompletions were him throwing it away in the Spring game.

I genuinely want to know why OU is being considered average.

Welcome to the SEC. Where OU has been used to being the top or at worst #2 most talented team in their conference. You are now somewhere between 5th to 7th most talented.

Oklahoma wasn't that good last year. Yes, you guys beat us, but I think you were cheating your asses off.. the team I saw later in the year (after Harbaugh got in trouble) was a shell of itself..

Gabriel was pretty good though.. Arnold may be good, but he will have some growing pains this year.

On top of that, going into the SEC with a huge question mark at OL could be a big problem.

Most importantly, your schedule is brutal. It isn't Florida bad, but it's pretty freaking bad.. if you guys go 9-3 or better, I will be surprised. But I've seen y'all do it before, so I wouldn't be shocked.. There a lot of comparisons to your 2000 team this year imo.. I just don't think the OL and QB will be anywhere close to that good. You had a hard schedule that year too..

Bottom line: If your OL is average or better, you will win a lot of games and might make the playoff. If your OL is bad, you could be looking at 6-6.

I think people think assume your conference schedule is going to make it hard to be successful in 24. Not your fault that ESPN/Sankey didn't hand OU a JV schedule like they gave to Utx.
