This is a lazy take. The transfers are only new starters at Oklahoma and Jacob Sexton started the last 5 or 6 games last year at one of the tackle spots and did well. The sooners also grabbed a veteran C out of the portal in Branson Hickman from SMU. Jake Taylor sat out last year recovering from injury but he played some good ball in 2022. Not to mention that Bill B is probably a top 3 OL coach in the NCAA. His track record of development is unquestionable.

OU also pulled in an awesome OL class in recruiting, but I don't expect any of them to be needed this year barring multiple injuries.

I agree that the OL is an area to watch but it's not as dire as the article paints it.
