with 5:02 left in the 1st half.. after making the 1st down (see the yellow line).. but somehow that changed the whole game.. you can actually make the argument that it hurt Texas, because USC kicked a FG as time expired in the 1st half to make it 16-10 Texas at halftime.. maybe that extra time would have kept the score 16-7 Texas..

My favorite play of that game.. besides the obvious one.. might be the Griffin INT in the endzone.. USC was up 7-0 at the time and that was a big turning point in the game.. Reggie's fumble was pretty great too.. what a bonehead play that was..

Ahh yes, Griffin taking away what would have likely been a condom TD was pure badass. And yeah, not sure what Reggie was thinking...that wasn't a fumble, he was trying to lateral as he was going down.

As much as we remember the heroics of Vince that night, our defense truly kept us in the game whenever the offense sputtered. Stopping Lendale White short of the first when he had a full head of steam is stuff of legend.
