I think it's a pretty good Top 25 imo.. I think some teams are just going to be hard to read with the Transfer Portal the way that it is..

Oklahoma & Texas A&M for example.. both have over 40 new players from high school and via the portal.. Lots of talent infused, but there is no way to know how they will play together, or how good they really are..

A coach who can evaluate will feast each year in the portal.

FSU for example had 10 draft picks this year I think..
and 9 were portal transfers..
Norvell or someone on his staff clearly has an eye for talent.

Why didn't Texas try to hire those who have an eye for talent?

It's also fair to say we just don't know how Texas and Oklahoma match up against the SEC. Feel good about the season but I do think it's fair to say it'll take some time to adjust. Doesn't mean we can't win 9-10 games..just means it won't be easy.

What is pretty good about it if you are a Texas fan (besides a lofty ranking) is the schedule you got from the SEC schedulers.

#2, #17, #25. And five unranked opponents.

As an OU fan I know I'm jealous. LOL.
