I don't like a lot of what appears here, but isn't it everyone's first amendment right to say what they want? Within the law of course. Saban is now a regular citizen, and just because he's wearing pants, he has no reason to disparage what others say.

I’m disappointed that someone as accomplished as Saban lets internet trolls get under his skin that much.

Not reading that article but I’m guessing he’s upset about people calling his daughter out for being just like her dad with marriage infidelity.

It didn't and that was the point he makes in the article. He was amazed at how it affected some players, and the energy that had to be spent getting them to ignore those external factors.
