I have no idea how anyone can say with any certainty that one window is more expensive than another.

More expensive at certain positions like DT because some teams are desperate for players. Damonic Williams, who just committed to OU, was demanding more NIL money than any of LSU's current staff or players other than Kelly make in a year. More money than our All-American LT Will Campbell, who is a projected Top 5 pick in next year's draft. More money than Quinn Ewers at Texas. And OU paid him some amount above what LSU and Texas were willing to pay.

I'm thinking the desperation curve goes up as well in the spring portal if what one poster, here says is correct.

Bama and Ole Miss got in early on what appear to be two good prospects. If they came in cheaper than the 1.5, then they may prove it's a good idea to get in on the hot prospects early on.

Meanwhile BK is looking at now having to get less expensive DTs from go5 schools.
