He's not Nick Saban. No matter what you say, post, bring up, or flame he will be nothing like what every Auburn fan had to deal with the past 17+ years in state. DeBoer could be good and he's still toast because of who he's following. Nick Saban was an all-time great who shook up college football, this dude is a (B+) hire with an unbelievable legacy to follow. The fact that you really think we care or are scared after what we survived is crazy lololololo

It’s ok to admit you’re scared. You thought it was over then you saw Ryan Williams decommit and you had hope and then DeBoer got him back. That was the moment it started.

I look at it like this: Deboer could have stayed at Udub with a fat raise or he could have waited for another job to open up that didnt have a legendary coach retire. I don't think he takes the Bammer job unless he really believes in himself. He was around to see what happened to the first two coaches who tried to follow Mack Brown after 16 seasons, and in spite of one Natty and playing for another, he wasn't legendary. In other words going to Bama after Saban means you either make it or break yourself...and I don't think he has any intention of doing the latter. Last season he got the better of Dan Lanning twice and Sark once, don't think he scared of the collective brainpower of the current crop of SEC coaches. The only 2 who can match his game IQ are Freshwater and Sark, the rest are a joke tbh.
