From my understanding your program was $$$ dry and that’s why cal wanted to leave. I dont agree with pay for play / nil but that is what was hurting Kentucky, not cal. Cal didn’t have the money to motivate his players. Cal has a top 5 class at the moment at Arkansas, from an empty roster, while Kentucky is throwing shite on the wall trying to get bodies.

You're not going to the Final Four every season no matter it is at Kentucky or any other program.
Kentucky lost to Saint Peters in the first round of the 2021 season. That team went to the Elite Eight.
Kentucky lost to Kansas State in the second round the next year. They went to the Elite Eight.
Kentucky lost to Oakland the next year in the first round. That team took NC State to OT. NC State went to the Final Four.
These programs are a lot better now than they were in the past. And just because Kentucky believes they are Kentucky and has a superiority complex doesn't always translate as better results on the court and nor does it mean they are always the superior team.
