I'm almost there..before all this madness started I

1. Followed recruiting passionately
2. Checked in on spring practice updates
3. Would drive to the. Spring game
4. Would watch coach/player interviews
5. Couldnt wait for cfb Saturdays

Now I just wait til August 15 too peruse the the roster and start paying attention. And I just assume every kid on the team doesn't actually care one bit about the school they represent.

This, I used to buy Athlon ncaa and Athlon SEC separately to get 2 different perspectives. I would follow spring practice and have a good idea of the online depth chart from just reading interviews. I was very passionate about it. Now noone on that team gives a shite so It just breaks down slowly after a while. We had a 3 year starter, whom was going to start again next year enter the transfer portal and commit to ole miss, then leave ole miss a few weeks later before spring practice started and transfer to Louisville for spring practice and now he is in the transfer portal again. This is fricking stupid.

Good assumption. Recruiting is essentially bidding on auctioned 17 year olds.
