The numbers overall are that he averaged 3.5 losses per year at ND and in his first 2 years at LSU he had 7 losses... 3.5 per year. He may turn out to be a great coach at LSU but it's not a stretch to see why there are questions.

Saban had 8 losses in his first two seasons at Alabama.

Again, how is Kelly "overrated?"

He's a good coach, no one is saying he's tGOAT.
