It think they decided it would be best to put their NIL money in other sports where they have a better chance of winning.

The hiring of Cal has brought more NIL money in.
Arkansas for the first time is putting basketball over football.
They are getting more money in football but it was done so because of the complaining but it won't be enough to be decent.
