As one "anonymous" coach said after last season if Bama would have stuck with Simpson after the USF game they would have zero questions at QB in 2024.
Milroe helped Bama win their 30th SEC Championship and advanced to another playoff.

Let's don't pretend Milroe played a good game in the SECCG. Had a couple runs that sealed it towards the end, but it was not a great game. Same for the CFP. He can potentially be a lethal dual threat QB, but let's face it, he was kinda living off that 4th down pass vs auburn to win the Iron Bowl. If that falls incomplete, the race for starting QB would be thought of very differently today.

Probably doesn't want to be accused of being racist. Many Bama fans are so insecure about Milroe.
