Tennessee's baseball field is a true POS. The place where every deep fly ball turns into a homer.

I was coming to post how ugly that ballpark is

But how are they leading the country in doubles if the park is small?

is that a wastewater treatment plant out past the right field fence?

Tough to tell, but that's where the right fielder would be playing in any other ballpark in the SEC.

Other teams aren't used to playing on a plastic field.

No! It’s a train yard!

Don’t understand how that ball didn’t go over that Ensley caught at the fence? Also I don’t get how other teams don’t hit homeruns like Tennessee does. You would think that field being so small, other teams would be feasting as well.
Did you know that Tennessee has only had like 1 game on the road where they didn’t hit a homerun? Last weekend the Vols hit like 6 homeruns in game 2 and 3.

So Hobo trash.
How ya figure? That is employment for non lazy people. But doesn’t aTm have train tracks behind their outfield wall? I believe LSU also has train track and a construction lot behind their stadium.
But good thing we don’t play baseball at the train yard huh? When Tennessee is done with this $90+ million expansion of LNS, it will be one of the top facilities in the country. As you have seen, we have come along ways over the last couple years. Next year they are adding a 2nd deck, and suits. We will sit around 9K when the stadium is complete in a couple of years.

Seems like the opposing team could take advantage of that - maybe your guys should get in the weight room

Think of the people that could benefit from working on the grounds crew taking care of the field instead of just needing to vacuum it.

Maybe they will be able to afford grass and dirt this time.

When I was at LNS 2010ish, they had a pristine natural grass infield. Why’d they change?

My
No. The wastewater treatment plant is actually part of their stadium.

It's an industrial way to make the park smell better than the body odor that comes off the hillbillies in the stands.
