I am guessing Drew feels pretty insulted by Kentucky over the discrepancy of his salary offer versus what they floated to previous coaches in this search.

Does this mean Pearl is on the clock. Pearl, unlike Oats, has not made an official statement saying he is happy in Auburn.

Pearl doesn’t have to make a statement. Everyone e knows he loves Auburn and he’ll never leave.
He also has a $2 million house at Lake Martin nearby…. He’s not giving that up.

Cohen has a way of dispatching very successful coaches. Don't think Pearl is safe as long as Cohen is there.
