Billy isn’t coming. You gonna wait until the NBA season is over to get him? He will get another NBA job if he wants

The NBA season ends April 14th. I think they can wait a six days. Regardless if he comes or not, I don't think the timeline will be the deciding factor.

Billy D would do amazing at UK and he fits their BB IQ. Oats would have to remake his offense like Dan at UConn.
Oats is way too reliant on 3 and it's not a complicated offense. Billy D would run an offense the nut jobs in Kentucky would appreciate.
Oats should stay...he's in a State that can't spell Basketball. Kentucky would make him snap, worse than the other Billy did.

Is this ever a deciding factor for any coaching job?

Billy isn’t leaving the NBA. Players love him. Company man for his bosses. Knocking on 60 with a team that won’t sniff the playoffs and his seat is still cool. Has it made in the shade.

That may be true. I just think if there is a college opportunity that could bring him back, this would be the one.

200%. Anyone who’s thinks that he would is delusional.

He’s currently dealing with Jerry Reinsdorf which is worst than anything the college game presents.
