The metric used don't fit a failed search. I think Pitt was a great hire at the time and has a .500 record on getting a wining season which is going to be a good average for us going forward. It was time for him to go after this season but all that "NWA money" suddenly didn't exist when we needed it.

Is everyone freaking out because Beard announced he was staying at OM? I get that it's kind of disappointing but there is nothing but a bunch of rumors right now and the job has only been open 48 hours.

I don't see anything at this point to prove HY has fricked this up. There are plenty of coaches interested in being here. If we make a shite hire by all means burn it down but right now nothing has happened and people are melting like we just hired some unknown assistant.
