If you had ever attended a UGA/GT game you would understand perfectly why I and almost anyone who comes within 100 yards of a Techie can’t stand them. You think Texas is arrogant you don’t know what arrogant is if you compare them to GT. They have the arrogance without having a single damn thing to merit it. Their fans - all 137 of them- biggest accomplishment is the ability to flip a double bird. Which they do constantly.
GT did commit academic fraud in 2005. Refused to cooperate with the investigation. Got probation and had games taken away. And all their deflections won’t change this. They cheated and got caught so they really should stop with their holier than thou attitude.

Riiiight. You are either the biggest candy-arse snowflake ever born or you’re lying out of your arse. How many times did you apply to Tech and get rejected? Or what? What really happened to you? Sexual abuse? Serial arse beatings? What?

Again ok it happened, it was an administrative issue regarding how electives were applied towards progress of a degree 20 years ago and on appeal no games were vacated. It hasn’t happened since. do you see how this works? It's actually ok to admit that there was or is a problem with your school. Like the rampant speeding and drinking & driving issues at UGA, you should be very concerned but instead deny and attack everyone who mentions it.

I don't think you understand Texas arrogance. They are not classless "double bird" flippers. They are dignified "double nostril" raisers when they walk by you.... Not making direct eye contact. This of course is accompanied by the "Hook 'em" raised proudly in the air generally with their dominant hand and arm. Perhaps a GT "double bird" flipper would get a 'Texas Fight' from the Texas fan... completely unfazed by the double bird.

This is somehow good news?
it actually is good news - he was absolutely being foolish and irresponsible; but this shows he was not out of control reckless
best analogy I can think of is that this is more like assault without battery

The point is he wasn't drunk.
He is that full blown stupid stone cold sober? That’s the silver lining for you? He was impaired or under the influence hence the DUI/DWI charge. But given UGA being in the news repeatedly, including the deaths of 2 people in the football program, for street racing/driving under the influence/speeding/reckless driving, your silver lining is at least he was sorta sober when he was going in excess of 100mph weaving through traffic.
Unfricking believable

He wasn't drunk, so there's one reason he didn't feel like he needed an uber.
He was drinking underage, that’s a reason to get an Uber. He was drinking underage, any traffic stop becomes a DUI, that’s a reason to get an Uber. UGA has lived in the news cycle for DUI, street racing, reckless driving, people died because of it, that’s a reason to get an Uber.
Again Unfricking believable

The 0.06 proves otherwise.

I think this is safe to assume.

Underage means automatic. Anything over 0.0 gets a DWI/DUI charge.

Then it’s safe to assume dudes a full blown idiot that has zero concern for UGA, just a hired gun cancer that invalidates the tripe that UGA fans believe about Kirby and UGA.
As an aside how many of the hired guns automatically get in trouble at UGA? Didn’t both of the “game changer” WRs get arrest last offseason that Kirby bought?

He refused the sobriety tests......automatic DUI.
Etienne reportedly confirmed that he had been drinking, telling the officer that he was "just trying to get home." He did not consent to any sobriety tests and told the officer he could push his car home instead of driving.
"During this interaction with Etienne, he continuously sways back and forth while standing on flat ground. His eyes were glossed over, and his speech was slurred," the officer wrote.

We were talking about level of inebriation, not whether or not someone gets arrested.

Might make him an idiot teen, but certainly doesn’t make one a teen cancer.
,
Invalidates what exactly?

I had no desire to attend GT. I was born a Dawg and will die a Dawg. Why would anyone want to go to Tech? Tech’s student body is made up of foreigners, Yankees from the NE and a few pimply southern geeks.
The few who actually show up at athletic events are arrogant without any discernible reason and so envious of their superiors to the East that they can’t help showing their arse at every opportunity. From double birds, cursing like pissed off sailors to mooning their flabby rear ends in our faces I’ve seen it all from you insects.
As the late Lewis Grizzard once wrote, GT thinks about Georgia 24/7 365. Georgia thinks about GT one day a year. Or in my case when I read one of you nerds attacking UGA on boards that are for SEC fans.
I can understand how you would want to hang out with the SEC - the big dogs of college football, but GT doesn’t qualify.
Good spin on academic cheating though. It definitely happened and had nothing to do with electives. It had to do with a program cheating and getting caught red handed and then refusing to cooperate with the investigation. Typical Tech arrogance.
And if you honestly think GT players drive 35mph on their way to their daily Bible study meetings I’ve got a real nice deal on some land for you

It’s gonna take a while to get all the Gator outta him. He’s worth it though. Kirby says he’s a good kid and he will be given a chance to straighten out

I expect he will miss the opener. Not a big deal. He is probably UGAs 3rd or 4th best RB at this time. He is gonna get better though. He is the real deal but needs time to receive some quality coaching. UF didn’t give him that

Funny coming from a UT fan. The Viols are known for their fondness for hard liquor and driving beat up old pickups at breakneck speeds.
