COLUMBIA – The University of South Carolina baseball team’s series opener vs. Vanderbilt has been postponed due to rain in the Midlands on Friday afternoon and evening.
The two teams will now play a doubleheader (two nine-inning games) on Saturday (March 23) starting at 1 p.m. There will be an hour break in between the two games. Carolina and Vandy then will wrap up the series on Sunday (March 24) beginning at 1:30 p.m.

Holy crap that grass looks like crap. Don't they have a winter blend they grow until the weather warms up enough?
Kudos for letting the kids play on it and also kudos for not having a full artificial turf field.
