That is pennies in the grand scheme of the jillions floating around in the sport right now. Do you really expect the people who are putting their actual asses on the line to do it for pennies, just because “that’s the way it’s always been and why college football is so unique and great?”

That's called "entitlement" and it's what's ruined our country. What's the incentive for an 18 yo kid to improve if he gets a million the day he steps on a college campus? The coach tries to discipline him to do more to improve and the kid transfers out to the next team willing to pay him another million just "cause". I think you are the delusional one if you think that is sustainable.
