Remember when you people spent two months making fun of our 2025 recruiting class and telling us Husky Harsin can’t recruit?

I have no idea how well Deboer will recruit. He's unproven in the area.

But the reality is Bama has yet to secure a commit for a 5-star player for 2025 (using 247's rankings). I think Bama will still have good recruits. The question is if they'll have ELITE recruiting classes going forward (like they've had for over a decade under Saban). Getting non-binding commits from a few 4-stars doesn't really show that.

Will they be better that Auburn. Of course. Auburn sucks. But the past few years it's been UGA and OSU who have been their main competition for consistently being at the top of recruiting rankings.

UGA has 2 5 stars (out of 5 players). OSU has 2 (out of 8). LSU has 3 out of 10. While it's too early to matter, if you are going to brag this early you shouldn't be bragging about your recruiting falling to a level just above Auburn.

Maybe just need time for the transition

Also use 247. LSU had most of their “top target” commit.

OSU and UGA had most of their “top target” commit or “warm”

Most of Baman’ and Auburn’s “top targets” are “cool”

I could recruit a top class to Alabama. It’s the greatest program in the history of college football at this point.

Considering that DeBoer has only been on campus for a short period of time this is a goofy take.
