13-1 Dawgs as Condon hits another HR to add to his nation leading total

He has gone HBP, BB, BB, HR and the Dawgs as a team have hit for the HR cycle in this game to add to their nation-leading team total.

Idk if this will hold up for shite in league play but I sure am enjoying it right now.

Is there any backstory to how Northern Colorado ended up on UGA's schedule, like a late replacement after another school dropped out or something?

Not shitting on what Condon is doing at all, but Northern Colorado may be the worst team any SEC team plays in a series this year.

Curious of this too, every player on the infield looked like Luke Combs

Honestly don’t know. Our full schedule wasn’t even released until December so it’s possible this was a late addition or replacement. Stricklin had a specific way of wanting to work through our non-con (we used to play Ga Southern in a 3 game and would’ve played either Clemson or KSU midweek by now). Instead we will play Clemson and KSU later in the year and are playing both Mich St and Iowa midweek (plus hosting Stetson, who we normally travel to) before conference play starts. Not sure if this was just a case of “we want a double header before conference play and this is who was available” or what but it’s almost been tough to watch as we are now up 11-1 in game 2 of the DH
