Yeah, this is the problem with bringing in good teams and dropping weak ones. You will still have standings, and overall records based on who you play. If the SEC is Alabama, Oklahoma, Georgia and Texas (for example), someone is still going to be last. Or, everyone will be mediocre. There really is no other option.

Same thing will happen to the Big 10; you might see Washington crash back down. Or Penn State drop a few notches. Or Iowa, which has been skating on thin ice, go the way of Nebraska.

If you play "an elite" every game, there will be losses, and that team is not elite anymore.

I agree with the sentiment someone else expressed; this is killing college football at the grassroots level.
