I’m no fan of the toads but that’s probably the sorriest I’ve felt for a team and a program. After decades of mediocrity and being a doormat, they’d finally committed and spent years building a competitive program the whole city of Ft. Worth was rabid about.

Only to crescendo into the biggest whoopin anyone can remember.

Yeah you mean the team that lost to Kansas State in the Big 12 CG? The same Kansas State Alabama blasted 45-20 in the Sugar Bowl?
