I don't really care what any of you think for starters. I have been around since the early Bryant days when people were talking about Ears Whitworth.

I've seen us win big, and lose big. But we win more than lose. Coaches come and go. Nick Saban's time had to end. Someone had to take over.

He's not Paul Bryant. He's not Gene Stallings. He's not Nick Saban. He's Kalen De Boer. He will be his own man.

You hyenas are begging for him to fail. But he's won everywhere he's been, and I expect he will here.

Of course he will win. He will win 10 or 11 games every season for 3 or 4 years.

At that point your fan base will run him out on a rail for “not meeting expectations”.

First of all, have an upvote for a decent semi-realistic post.

Second of all, you're dead wrong. Everywhere he's been has been mostly at NAIA. Mostly as in about 75% of the time he's spent as a head coach. Maybe just maybe you caught lightning in a bottle, but the odds are stacked against it
