These people fall in one of two camps.

They’re either so ignorant that they buy hook, line and sinker whatever they’re told and regurgitate it ad nauseam without any concept of how stupid they sound, or

They look at politics like a HS school debate team where they have to take the opposite position of the other party and argue it no matter what the real world implications are.

And make no mistake, the idea that the POTUS with DHS, the DOJ, FBI and all of the other resources at his disposal is helpless in stopping illegal immigrants from coming in our country, or the groups that enable them to get here, without passing a new bill is so laughable I can’t believe anyone would say this with a straight face.
