The reality is it will be harder than it was in the Big 12.

If you look at the 247 talent composite, you had Texas at the top (#6) followed by OU (#9), TCU (#19) then Texas TEch at #40. For comparison, here are all the SEC teams other than Texas themselves above Texas TEch in the talent composite last season:

Bama (#1), UGA (#2), A&M (#4), LSU (#7), OU (#9), UF (#15), Tenn (#16), Auburn (#18), South Carolina (#22), Ole Miss (#23), Mizzou (#25), MSU (#29), UK (#31), Arky (#32).

Yes, that's everyone except Vandy in the top 32 teams in the nation in talent as opposed to only having 3 teams in the conference other than yours in the top 40 in talent. Vandy is at #58, just a few spots behind Oklahoma State who's at $55.

It's foolish for Texas and OU not to think there's going to be an adjustment. If you sleepwalk against a Kansas or Kansas State, you can still win via talent edge. That doesn't happen against anyone other than Vandy in the SEC.

It's foolish you dipshits keep repeating this when nobody was saying it wouldn't be.

You'd think, but Texas is only 14-10 vs KState. And Oklahoma is 1-3 in the last 4 games vs the Wildcats.

And then there's OK's 'effort' last year against Kansas.
