They benefited bc Kirby got Saban’d and they ended up not playing the best team in the country bc only 4 teams could make the playoff.
Georgia would’ve wiped the floor with Michigan but Kirby unfortunately psyched himself out against Saban again. Now that he’s gone Georgia will probably run college football.

OMFG, I hate college football playoffs.
So now that we have what everyone wanted, we end up with the champions not being the best team.
