A&M is the Daddy. Besides being founded before Texas. Academically. Well let’s see…Texas admitted about 9,000 freshmen last year…A&M admitted 13,000. Our first 9,000 are as academically accomplished as Texas’ 9000. More importantly here are the hard numbers. Given the most recent available data, Texas A&M has over 250 national merit scholars, or about 1 in 285 students. Texas has only about 90 national merit scholars…or about 1 in 577 students. Twice as many NM scholars with just 37% more students. A&M just finished raising close to a billion dollars for an education initiative for all students. What has Texas done? If Texas is so academically superior, why is that? Texas has been sued numerous times for taking DEI students over higher qualified students. I was accepted into both TAMU as well as Texas, just as my brother and sister were. Two graduated from A&M TAMU, one from Texas. The Texas graduate was sent to TAMU for a masters degree by Dow Chemical. As for sports, since the end of the Vietnam war the football record is almost identical. Prior to that, A&M was basically a military school. While Aggies were fighting the nations wars, Texas was running up the record with their draft dodgers. Texas never commissioned a single officer until after WWII. Right now the only thing Texas seems to be turning out are gender confused unemployable liberal communist idiots that don’t care about Texas or the country.
