He coached against the worst teams in A&M history. Once things got turned around, A&M was a thorn in his side

In our defense, Melvin Watkins was our coach. I don’t wish that on anyone.
So yeah….
Once we got Billy G then Turgeon, Barnes was losing in a regular basis.
