SoG NCAA Men's Bracketology - Feb 8th Edition (still 9 SEC teams in)

SOG Bracketoogy - 2/1 Version
- Resume skews towards rewarding big wins and punishing bad losses. Teams that beat a bunch of solid, but not many Q1 teams, won't fare as well in Resume.
- T-Rank is just basically the same as KenPom - efficiency rankings. Nothing to do with wins and losses.
- WAB is Wins Above Bubble. Similar to Strength of Record, you get points for/against for every game you play, so a lot of wins over solid (but non Q1A) teams will add up.
- *** = auto-bid for their conference
#1 - Tennessee (up 1)
#3 - Auburn (up 2)
#4 - Alabama (down 1)
#4 - South Carolina (no change)
#9 - Kentucky (down 1)
#9 - Texas A&M (up 2)
#10 - Mississippi State (no change)
#11 - Ole Miss (down 2)
#11 - Florida (down 3) (play-in game)
#23 team out - Georgia

4. Cincinnati (B12)

Carolina just lost to Georgia Tech and Clemson at home.
Kansas has lost to UCF, Kansas State and West Virginia.
Arizona has lost to FAU, Washington State and Stanford.
Marquette has lost to Providence, Seton Hall and Butler.
The last #1 seed is gonna have some flaws.

Sec will not get 9 teams in . The big 12 has 12 of 14 teams who have 15 wins already. Looking likely 10 will get in from the beat of a basketball conference which will limit how many the sec gets in .

The #1 seed that had to play Kentucky or Texas AM as a 8/9 seed should be nervous.

I think that Houston would be terrified to see Kentucky in the 2nd round. Purdue or UConn would score 100 points against Kentucky (and Tennessee wouldn't be lined up with them), but Houston can be bad on offense against anybody, and Kentucky can score against anybody.
