I will become a corndog. That would be the most absurd, worst hire in college football history. I am going to puke up my bacon egg and cheese biscuit all over my keyboard.

Are you guys still hearing Muschamp's name thrown around over there? Nobody in Austin seems to be too concerned about it since he made that last statement. Of course, we all know how binding a college coach's word is these days.

Come on over, AuburnCPA. I'd have to agree with you. How could you fire Tuberville and hire Chizik? That would be ludicrous.

Jay Jacobs has already proven to me that he is a moron, but I doubt we hire Chizik when much better names are still on the table.

The statement also said that Chizik is a "serious candidate for the job."
He has a 5-19 record with the Cyclones.
I say all Bama folks find some Tiger stationary and start a write in campaign, Chiz is the shiz, bring him to the Plains.

True. I just don't understand why this coaching search has been handled so badly. I don't expect them to hire someone within 3 days, but this constant bringing up of names, interviews with 60 different guys, it just makes the University look bad. I suppose if they hire a good one, all of this will be forgotten, but it is just another black eye for AU.
