It will be interesting watching him scramble to move the field goal post on this one. He might suggest that none of those players belong opposed to admitting he was wrong.

Home: .345, 227 HR, 859 RBI
Road: .287, 142 HR, 547 RBI

What was I wrong about?

Perhaps you should compare him to some other Hall of Famers. You're simply wrong. Maybe you could go whine to the admins that somebody disagreed with you, you weak arse little bitch.

Seriously, you're in here crying because the player from another team was elected to the hall of Fame. You're a pathetic excuse for a damn man.

There are currently 303 members of the MLB Hall of Fame Batting Registry. Of those, over half (157) have career batting averages below .287.

So, let's eliminate anyone from the HOF with a batting average of .287 or below. See ya, David Ortiz (.286), Yogi Berra (.285), Ryan Sandberg (.285), Carl Yastrzemski (.285), Ken Griffey Jr. (.284), Fred McGriff (.284), Roy Campanella (.283), Dave Winfield (.283), Willie Stargell (.282), Rickey Henderson (.279), Cal Ripken Jr. (.276), Willie McCovey (.270), Carlton Fisk (.269), Pee Wee Reese (.269), Johnny Bench (.267), Brooks Robinson (.267), Ozzie Smith (.262).

All of these players had batting averages below what Helton had AWAY from Coors Field. They were just horrible hitters, I guess.

The "Oof" after the away numbers. You've already seen that there are a number of HOF players with overall batting averages under .287. Let's look at his other numbers AWAY from Coors Field (a total of 2776 At Bats).

Home Runs:
Only 142 Home Runs...which is more than:
Jackie Robinson (141 in 4997 at bats), Tony Gwynn (135 in 9228 at bats) , Pee Wee Reese (126 in 8058 at bats), Wade Boggs (118 in 9180 at bats), Ty Cobb (117), Honus Wagner (101 in 10439 at bats), Rod Carew (92 in 9315 at bats).

How about RBIs...he only had 547 of them...which is more than 116 Hall of Fame members, including:
Casey Stengel (535 in 4288 at bats), Connie Mack (265 in 22698 at bats), Dick Williams (331 in 2959 at bats).

I guess he won 3 Gold Gloves because of the friendly confines of Coors Field?
