All of your blue chip athletes are in mass exodus. To cope, you Gumps keep telling yourselves...."Oh, what's so bad about recruiting players from a National Championship team?"
Washington would've had 8 or 9 wins at best playing in the SEC gauntlet.....and you f*cking know it.

Yep. Those players he recruited at Washington only went 14-1 this past season. Get a ROPE!

They wouldn't have been THAT bad.
Probably in a similar category as Mizzou or Ole Miss this year.

Those 14 wins came from a sh*thole conference that hasn't amounted to sh*t in years. The Pac-12 is not the SEC

Pretty sure we still have more blue chip players on our roster than everyone in the conference sans Georgia.
Edge Keon Keeley (5-star, #3)
CB Jaylen Mbakwe (5-star, #22)
Edge Yhonzae Pierre (5-star, #28)
ILB Jihaad Campbell (5-star, #16)
QB Ty Simspon (5-star, #29)
OT Elijah Pritchett (5-star, #31)
And about 10-12 more Top 50 recruits who are barely outside 5-star range.
Maybe if they leave then you will be right. But until then, the narrative is pretty silly. Not to mention, 2 of the 3 kids he brought over from Washington were 4-star recruits (Mack #73 overall, Bernard #239 overall). So not exactly 2-star guys that were otherwise going to Idaho State.

they'll be here to tell you that they're getting players from a national championship game team, but ignore that those players got beat down worse than their bama players they're replacing

Without Penix, they lose 4-5 games in the Pac 12 bubba Gump. Pull your head out of the sand. Chizik went undefeated in the SEC and won the Natty with Cam Newton. Without Newton, Auburn loses 3-4 games.

What would their record have been in the SEC?
You do know they did not score an offensive TD against an awful Arizona St team right?
It's going to be a very difficult three years for bama until the next coach comes in.

After playoffs- they were the most talented team there and the best coached.

I cannot believe the number of people on this site that believe the SEC is some unbelievable all-around giant where every team is on the same level as Alabama and Georgia.
Y'all know other conferences had winning records against the SEC this year, right? It may be hard to believe, but there are quality football players that play in other leagues...

No what he's saying is you are getting the more irrelevant players that contributed to their success....and you have Mil-ran not Penix.

Of course there are but nothing like the SEC
Go look at NFL rosters and compare.

You can say this about the Big12 and BigTen....but not the Pancake-12.
The NFL's amount of SEC players on rosters tells a different story.
