Here are the 5-star QBs from the last 3 cycles: Arch Manning Nico Iamaleava Dante Moore Jackson Arnold Malachi Nelson Drew Allar Cade Klubnik Conner Weigman Quinn Ewers Ty Simpson Walker Howard Caleb Williams Brock Vandagriff Sam Huard Kyle McCord JJ McCarthy I see 2 names on this list who have actually been difference makers at the QB position. Caleb Williams Quinn Ewers Maybe JJ McCarthy

I think you had a valid point, but this did not help your case. McCarthy was obviously a difference maker. Several of those guys were just freshman and will likely make a future impact. For example, I bet Tenner fans would say Iamaleava is the most important player on the Vols’ roster right now. And there are several other starting QBs there.

There are hundreds of guys like Klubnik & Allar out there.

Like I said, as of now, there are only 2-3 true difference makers on that list. Bama will have no problem landing a transfer QB as good or better than 80% of this list

And the other thing I haven’t mentioned, which is probably the most important, is that of the 3 difference makers, two were transfers.

The odds that Sayin was going to go to Bama, wait his turn, and become a top QB without transferring is extremely low. Like I said, JJ McCarthy is the only one who even somewhat matches the criteria
