Anybody who says this crap has no clue about football. During the games is when the HC has some of the least impact on what is going on. Hay is already in the barn by that point.

your big michigan guy seems to have precisely the same information as everyone else

LSU is not a rival of Alabama.
Well, that's just false.
A correct statement would be that LSU is not Alabama's #1 rival.
That would be Auburn times the infinite number of fricks given.

Michigan doesn’t want Kelly

The only way Kelly would leave would require a string of unlikely circumstances:
1. Kelly being unhappy at LSU (this does not appear to be the case)
2. Harbaugh leaving
3. His leaving NOT due to severe sanctions, as Kelly would be very unlikely to take a spot on a team about to get hammered by the NCAA
4. Michigan then ponying up to outbid LSU (Michigan's pockets are probably deeper, but LSU's no G5 or low-tier P5 school)
Exactly.
I think BK's ultimate goal is to win a natty, he's probably a Hall of Fame coach if he can do it. I wouldn't be shocked to see him immediately retire afterward.
Does Michigan have a better shot at winning a title than LSU, going forward? They're facing possible sanctions and the Big 10 is getting tougher and will have more cross country travel.
Even if you like the talent on the Michigan roster, you have to assume some of it would leave.
Then you look at what's happening at LSU, he's recruiting better than Michigan, has more talent (on paper), just put together a really good staff, and likely is going to land a top 3 class in 2025. Also, he would have "wasted" two years building at LSU and he's running out of time.
I've been surprised by moves before but just don't see this one happening, especially when it was all started by a Lying Liucci rumor.

ah…So UM would do everything it can to make a transition form it’s NC winning coach as seamless as possible? The AD at Bama should have consulted with UM’s on decision like this.
Good point. Tommy Rees would have really held the team together.

Yeah, but who did he coach against?

100% agree, but you have to look at the post in context if WHEN it was posted. It was about the time when all the Bama fans started trolling LSU about Kelly to Michigan. It was basically calling a bluff.. .
